The First Day in the University

Today 28.Aug since morning is raining, at 9:30 Marie a study consultant and Bjørn Furuholt, the head of information system department, came to get us to the police station to do the finger stamps and start working to get the residence card, at 11:00 when we finished the Professor Bjørn take me the university. It was at 12:00 meeting for our department, at that meeting my colleagues  talked about their work and I introduced myself and talked briefly what I am going to do. The university is very nice and I have to take number for any service and really all people there are helpful. When I reached there I walked through all members in the department to say hello then they gave me a new laptop and show me my office then I went to take the key and the password for my account. I like how the people deal with each other and it seems it is very nice environment to work there.

Medical Tests

on 27-Aug. two persons, Marie & Professor Bjørn Erik Munkvold, from the university come to bring me & my family in two cars to do the medical tests, it was about two hours between a medical department then to the governmental hospital to do the radiology tests, all of this period both Marie & Prof. Bjørn stayed with us until finishing. then we went to down town and there we have seen a big supermarket selling the middle east products, so it was a great day.
